Kathy Holtzclaw

She was one of the longest lasting terminally ill patients in the oncology department under Dr. Ahmed and was very proud to be told that she was an inspiration to others. She loved to sing, read, watch movies and play bingo when still able, but her biggest pride was her family. Kathy worked at Craddock Finishing Corp. 20 years and T. J. Maxx for 5-1/2 years.

Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Holtzclaw and father, James Edward Crowe.

She is survived by her daughter, Kerrie Herndon (James Murphy); son, Kenneth F. Holtzclaw (Angelia); mother, Rosalie Vowles; sisters, Becky Nelligan (Gary), Tracey Newton (John); brothers, Larry Crowe (Diane), Edward Crowe (Karen); grandchildren, Korey Holtzclaw, Shelby Herndon, James Michael Herndon, Leslie Murphy, Joshua Holtzclaw, Steven (Nikki) and Jessica Muehlbauer; aunt, Priscilla Dillback; nieces and nephews.

Services will be 1:00 PM Friday, December 9, 2011 at Alexander West Chapel with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit from 2 PM to 8 PM Thursday, December 8, 2011 at the funeral home.
