Larry C. Johnson

Larry Clifford Johnson, 89, of Wadesville, passed away Monday, November 17, 2014, at Deaconess Gateway. He was born December 11, 1924, to Frank and Molly (Clark) Johnson in Bell City, Missouri. Larry was a Navy veteran serving in WWII. He was a salesman for General Foods and retired in 1983. Larry enjoyed gardening. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty (Schlegel) Johnson in 1996. Larry is survived by his companion, Jeanette Adamson; daughter, Shirley Phillips (Stu) of Boonville, IN; son, Kevin Johnson (Tammy) of Newburgh, IN; grandchildren, Kristi Jones (Jason), Kurt Phillips (Kelly), Cherie Johnson and Drew Johnson; and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday, November 21, 2014, at Alexander East Chapel, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Thursday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
