Lawrence Hooper

Lawrence was born August 4, 1949 in Evansville, Indiana to the late William and Margie (Faulkner) Hooper. Working on cars alongside his father led to a lifelong love of cars and mechanic work. Lawrence worked as an over the road truck driver for many years. He was employed as a forklift driver at Azteca Milling until his retirement in August of 2020. He served as a father figure to his nieces and nephews.

Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, William and Margie (Faulkner) Hooper; nephews, Michael Hooper and Eric Hooper Cabell.

Lawrence is survived by his son, Larry Hooper; grandchildren, Jalen and Jace Hooper; sisters, Doris Hooper, Mary Hooper Holbrook , Rebecca Lynn Hooper; brother, William Hooper Jr.; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Private Family Services will be held. The public may visit on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Alexander East Chapel.
