Leah Kay Dressler, 53, of Evansville, went home to be with the Lord Monday, July 11, 2016, surrounded by family at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. She was born on August 11, 1962 at Oakland City Hospital, to the late Frank Evans and Phyllis Davidson McMahon.
Leah was a wonderful human being who loved her family dearly, was a wonderful mother, and had a passion for taking care of others as a nurse.
Leah was preceded in death by her husband Albert 'Mark' Dressler; grandson, Luke Henry Dressler; and her parents.
Leah is survived by her daughter, Myah Dressler; two stepsons, Timothy (Gina) Dressler and Tristan(Ali) Dressler; Grandchildren, Deacon, Finn, Ella, Logan, and Banks Dressler; a brother, William (Margaret) Evans; a sister, Rhea(Jeff) Teague; and many nieces and nephews. And a beloved friend Charlet Georges.
A Memorial Service will be 6:00PM, Friday, July 15, 2016, at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Rd. Friends may visit Friday from 4:00PM to 8:00PM.
