

She was born October 17, 1922 in Evansville, Indiana to Myrtle and Revel Kingsbury, and graduated from Reitz High School. She owned and operated a drapery business out of her home for many years. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church on Kratzville Road where she was very proud to be a part of the Piecemakers Quilting Ministry.
She is survived by her two brothers, Robert and Richard Kingsbury; son, Randall Hobbs (Marlene) of San Diego, CA; daughters, Judith Hobbs of Evansville, Rebecca Robards (Tim) of Evansville, Barbara Titzer (David) of Chandler, and Debra Heairleston (Steve) of Evansville; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene on May 15, 2003; brother, Revel Alan Kingsbury Jr.; and sister, Peggy Gastenveld.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude and thanks to the staff at Bethel Manor and VNA Plus Charlier Hospice Center for their excellent care of Lillian.
Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road. Funeral services will be held at Salem United Methodist Church, Kratzville Road, Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 10:00 AM, officiated by Pastor Randy Anderson with burial at Parklawn Cemetery.
