Louie was an Army Veteran serving in the Korean War, and was a member of the Chosen Few.” After returning from Korea, Louie met Bob Engelbrecht and began working for him at Engelbrecht Orchards. He worked there for over 35 years, becoming the foreman and over-seeing the fruit production.
He was a lifetime member of VFW Post 1114. He enjoyed reading and his pet squirrel “Nutty.”
Louie is survived by his close friend of 47 years, Don Cross; brother, Howard Bringwald; and sisters, Oma Like and Marge Loch.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00PM, Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery .
