This is the only time Marcia stayed with me and my family in the U.K way back in 1999, so we went for a blast on my Harley, fond memories of a wonderful person.

Cousin Marcia, the little golden haired girl that was the apple of her parent’s eye.......Steve and family, I send you my deepest sympathy at the untimely death of Marcia at such a young age. 
Being 6 years older, Marcia wasn’t my playmate as much as Jody’s but she was definitely a part of our enlarged Mulberry/Walnut family growing up, sharing holidays, and making memories. I received a Christmas card from a Marcia every year and will remember her lovingly as those from others arrive in the years to come.

Some of my fondest childhood memories included Marcia, especially around holidays.   At Thanksgiving, it seemed that "The Wizard of Oz" was always televised in the afternoon while the adults were busy cleaning up from the feast.   Marcia loved the part with the flying monkeys, while I had nightmares about them!  We all had such fun with friends on Walnut and Mulberry Streets.   We will miss you , cousin.  May you rest in peace.

I will never forget the time, out of the blue, she called me  in Alaska from Spain.  Definitely set the record for long distant calls for me.  A friend forever.

Marcia & I spent many a night together when we were so young that that was a big deal. We had lots of fun in the doll house and later in the tree house. I also remember picking her up to walk to school together. She was one of my first best friends. 
I’m so sorry she had so many complications at the end of life. She was too young to leave this world! God bless Marcia.

I am really sorry for your loss.  Marcia was my very first friend as a child.  We were close neighbors.  
We played outside together almost every day, having fun and getting into much mischief.  I have so many great childhood memories of the two of us exploring the neighborhood and growing up side by side.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her as a fun loving, unique individual.

Oh my gosh where do I begin!! I remember so many stories about our weekend antics which most got me grounded. One of my favorites was the weekend her dad let her have the Volkswagen and we took one of many unauthorized trips to Evansville. Before I begin you should know this won’t end well. We get to Evansville and somewhere during the evening I got to drive . There’s one little problem I didn’t know how to drive a standard shift car. I said oh yes I can do this, it didn’t take long for Marcia and Shonece to figure out that I couldn’t drive. I kinda drove it off the road and the rest is history. I think we got home late and my mother was waiting for me.  I wish that I could have seen her place in Spain but when I was in Spain she was back in Indy so schedules just never matched.  I could tell in her voice that she loved it there when she shared stories with me when she went back for a visit.  My dear friend Marcia , I will truely miss our phone chats together!!

Marcia was just that little bit older than us that made her a natural ring leader. From holding "school" in  her playhouse (my first French lesson) to being the pied piper and wrangling the little ones, she was always the head of the pack. She thought the twins were her very own!! And style was always at the fore. From big floppy hair bows to grass hula skirts for Carolyn Moll's dance recitals, Marcia dressed to perfection. She was a great big sis and I will miss her so much! xox Katy

Our early morning pretend paper route.  Marcia woke me up every morning by pulling a string which was tied around my wrist and hung out of my second story bedroom window,  Then we rode our bikes on our pretend paper route,
Playing on the big swing in her back yard. also sleeping in her tree house and then frying eggs over the fire that we built in her back yard
She bought me as her slave at the Latin Club dinner. then proceeded to braid my hair in a hundred small braids
Playing with her train set in her basement and putting play dough from the play dough factory on the cars and taking it to each new town
Visiting Lexington with her when we were teenagers
Visiting her in Chicago
She came here to Idyllwild to see me.  I love Marcia so much!
