Marilyn (Pease) Tramel, 78, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at Deaconess VNA Plus Hospice. She was born September 27, 1936, in Evansville, to the late Roy and Evelyn (Gunn) Pease.
She had worked with the Dream Center. She was a member of Bible Center Cathedral, where she participated in the Prayer Band and Celebrate Recovery.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Tramel; daughter, Debra Elder; and brother, Roy Pease, Jr.
She is survived by her sons, Steve Tramel of Marion, KY, David (Laverne) Tramel of Irvington, KY, and Daniel Tramel of Evansville, IN; daughters, Susan (Mike) Turner of WV and Julie Haraughty of Evansville; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Ann (Vodra) Wilson and Doris June (Bill) Dossett; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, January 10, 2015, at Alexander West Chapel, with burial Monday in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Friday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
