Marjorie Elizabeth Effinger of Evansville, went to Heaven on her 91st birthday, Thursday, January 23, 2020. She was the youngest of 8 children born to the late Benjamin and Minnie (Evans) Wallace.
Throughout her life, she was a member of Mill Road Baptist, East Gate Baptist and Christian Fellowship churches. She enjoyed hand work, Bible study and wintering in Florida with her late husband for 20 years.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Frank Effinger.
She is survived by daughter, Sharon Effinger; sons, Michael Effinger (Margaret) and Jeffrey Effinger (Nancy); grandchildren, Michael Effinger (JoAnn) and their children: Colleen, Meagan and Will, Rachael, Tiffany and Charissa Effinger, Caleb Effinger (Melisa), Joel Effinger (Kirsten) and their children: James, Emma and Ellie Effinger, Micah Effinger (Megan) and their daughter, Baily, Charity Rogers (Jeff) and their children: Lincoln, Luke and Georgianna Rogers, Holly Belliveau (Tyler), Christy Scavuzzo (Louis) and their children, Willa and Cora Scavuzzo, Andrew Effinger (Sabrina) and their children: Elijah and Ella Effinger, Paul Effinger, Joseph Effinger (Kristina) and Tim Effinger.
A Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 27, 2020 at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road, officiated by Rev. Cliff Herring, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, January 26, 2020 and Monday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
