Mark A. Smith

Mark graduated from North High School in 1968. He served his country, in the Army, by doing two tours in Viet Nam, where he was a helicopter mechanic. Mark loved to fish and work on old cars. For over 20 years, he worked for Sears, then worked for Wal-Mart.

He is preceded in death by his father, Burnell Smith in 1978.

Mark is survived by his mother Jeannine Smith Eberhard of Evansville; brother, Carey E. Smith of Evansville; sister, Jennifer Deters (husband, P.R.) of Boonville; sister, Terri Chevalier of Newburgh; five nephews, one niece; and great nephews and a great niece.

Mark has requested there not be viewing and visitation at Alexander North Chapel. Instead, he wanted a graveside service at Sunset Memorial Park, which will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 8, 2011.
