Mary L. Dean

She worked in Real Estate for 15 years and Meade Johnson for 17 years. Mary was a member of Christian Fellowship Church. She had a love for square dancing. Mary enjoyed knitting and spending time with her grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, August Dean; and son, Stacy Holloman Cowan.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Jessica Smithhart (Eric), grandson, Cody Cowan; sister, Mona Edwards (Arthur), and 4 great-grandsons, Gavin, Rian, Grayson and Owen.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 6, 2020 at Alexander East Chapel with Pastor Cliff Herring officiating. Burial will follow at Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
