Mary Rose Housman

Mary Rose Housman, 84, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Good Samaritan Home. She was born May 24, 1934 in Henderson, KY to the late Charles and Rosa Lee (Barron) Hager. She loved reading, writing, poetry, fishing, reading the “funny paper” and loving her family. Mary is survived by her husband of 67 years, Bill Ray Housman; children, Steven Paul (Sherry), Nancy Marie (Jim) and Larry Ray (Cindy); grandchildren, Jason Rhoads (Michelle), Amanda Hampton (Jeremy), James Lear (Michelle), and Jason Quinn; great-grandchildren, Ann, Forrest, Ashley, Dakota, Emily, Makenzie, Mary, Ethan, Zhale, and Callen, and great-great-grandchildren, Daniel and Samuel. Our family would like to thank each and every nurse and employee at Good Samarian Home. There are not enough kind words to express our gratitude for everything you did for our loved one. Also, thank you to Deaconess VNA Hospice for all you did for our Mary and our family. A Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Rd., with burial in Sunset Memorial Park on St. George Rd.
