

Mary Lou Peck, 86, of Evansville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 23, 2015, at Parkview Care Center. She was born October 25, 1928, in Owensville, IN to the late Henry and Mae (Barrett) Blythe.
She was a very active member of Westwood General Baptist Church where she was involved in VBS, Elderberries, and the Missionary Society. The one activity she loved the best was greeting the people who came to church each Sunday.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Harold Peck; son, Curtis Peck; and sister, Ann Erman.
She is survived by her daughters, Tonya (Lester) Dix of Evansville, Marlene (Henry) Stamper of Arizona, and Amy Hoats of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Jennifer (Jason) Coldiron, Renee Epperson, Natasha Venesky, Colten Peck and Luke and Emma Hoats; great-grandsons, Sean, Jr. and Charles Venesky; and sisters, Mae Marie Barker and Betty Montgomery.
The family would like to thank everyone at Parkview Care Center and Deaconess Hospice for the loving care given to Mary Lou.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Westwood General Baptist Church, 121 S. Boehne Camp Rd., Evansville, IN 47712, officiated by Rev. John Sloan, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Friday from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Alexander West Chapel and Saturday from 9:00 AM until service time at the church.
