Dot’s passion was to give her time to others. She specifically volunteered for the Deaconess Hospital Auxiliary, where she attained the position of President and volunteered more than 10,000 hours over a period of 39 years. Later inb her life she co-managed the Old Evansville Antique Mall for over ten years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Teresa (Bleily) Goetz of Tell City, Indiana.
Dot is survived by her husband, Ed Small; son, Mike Small and wife, Jane; and two grandchildren, Michael and Jamie Small.
Services will be 11:15 AM Wednesday, June 8, 2011, at Resurrection Catholic Church, 5301 New Harmony Road, officiated by Fr. Raymond Brenner, with private burial. Friends may visit from 10:00 AM until service time at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Deaconess Hospital Auxiliary or Resurrection Catholic Church.
