She went to school at Holy Family and Our Lady of Mercy High School. Her first job was with the Rochester Gas and Electric Company. She worked for twenty years in various agencies of Monroe County (NY), including Social Services, Traffic and Legal. She had been a member of Holy Ghost Church in Rochester and was active in several of its committees before moving to Parkside Assisted Living in Greece, then to Morningside Assisted Living of Seneca, SC, and Hamilton Pointe of Newburgh, IN. Mary was a loving and devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, doing crafts, and knitting beautiful blankets and warm mittens. She was an excellent cook and baker, finding many good recipes that have been passed down through the family. She loved to travel, and enjoyed visiting Scotland, Spain, and several other locations. Her gentle way, beautiful smile, and uplifting sense of humor were just some of the beautiful gifts she shared with family and friends. She will be so very deeply missed.
