A simple man, yet he was loved. Mike was a son, brother, uncle, friend, mechanic, veteran, truck driver, warehouse worker - a man of many talents.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents Donald G. and Sandra J. Deutsch. He is survived by his sisters Jennifer and Teresa (Floyd) Koch, nieces Sierra and Laura Koch, and stepmother Ruby.
Mike was employed at Aldez in Princeton, Indiana. Previously Mike enjoyed a 30+ year career as an over the road truck driver seeing this great nation one mile at a time. He loved the open road.
Mike graduated in 1979 from F.J. Reitz and went on to earn his associates degree from Ivy Tech. Mike had the special privilege of being in the same graduating class as his Mom in 1983.
Mike had a warped sense of humor and sarcastic wit - he loved to make people laugh. Mike didn't require much in life. He enjoyed family meals, a good tv series, movies, a bit of Nascar or being outdoors.
The passing of Mike brings tears, but the memories of his life remain with us always. Teresa and Jennifer wish to especially thank everyone at Ascension who spent time caring for our brother. Your kindness and compassion made our experience one filled with unconditional love and support. We are grateful.
