

Michael S. Gollnick, 78, of Haubstadt, IN passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, February 9, 2025. He was born in South Bend, IN on August 3, 1946 to Elmer J. Gollnick and Eileen (De Yarmon) Gollnick.
Mike retired in 2005 from the electrical maintenance department at Bristol Myers where he had worked over 35 years. He graduated from Central High School and worked at Sandleben Pharmacy. He attended the University of Evansville, University of Southern Indiana, and Ivy Tech. He was a member of Germania Maennerchor and the West Side Sportsman’s Club. He enjoyed jogging and mountain bikes. Mike was a fun loving, caring person and enjoyed playing practical jokes.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Eileen Gollnick; brothers and sisters, Gloria Taggert, Eugene Gollnick, Sherrie Blanchard and Patty Kravitz.
Mike is survived by his daughters, Monique Head (Randy), and Angelica Rexing (Gabe); sons, Nicholas Gollnick and Joshua Gollnick; stepdaughter, Melonie Moody (Gerald); grandchildren, Samantha Rodgers (Matthew), Jesse Head (Aeriana), Gabriel Samuel (Diana), Sierra Samuel (Joshua), and Daimon Wilson; great-grandchildren, Braxton Head and Sophia Head; and nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Premier Healthcare of New Harmony and St. Croix Hospice for their care and compassion.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Alexander Memorial Park Heritage Chapel, 2200 Mesker Park Drive, Evansville, IN officiated by Pastor David Pry burial will follow at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the mausoleum chapel.
