

Mildred was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an aide on the school buses for EVSC for 15 years. She loved sports and watching sports of all kinds. Mildred was a member of the Rex Mundi Booster Club. She was an honorary basketball coach for Kentucky Wesleyan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Linus Debes; parents, Edward and Sadie Lappe; brothers, Daniel and David Lappe; sister, Josephine Pieczko.
Mildred is survived by her son, Joseph Debes (Melissa); son, Charles Debes (Amy); daughter, Judy Harmon (John); son, Patrick Debes (Rita); daughter, Pamela Debes; son, Ronald Debes (Sandy); son, Philip Debes (Marianne); son, Michael Debes; sister, Mary Lou Kassenbrock; grandchildren, Jodee Debes, Luke Debes, Russell Debes, Joshua Debes, John Harmon (Jenny), Brandon Debes (Lesley), Travis Debes, Andrew Debes, Jordan Debes, Sarah Debes, Brian Debes, Adam Debes, Samantha Debes, Caitlon Debes, Dillon Debes, and Kelsey Debes; three great-grandchildren, Owen & Mason Harmon, and Logan Debes.
Services will be held at 10:30 AM Monday August 20, 2012 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 918 W. Mill Rd, Evansville, IN 47710, officiated by Rev. Paul Ferguson with burial at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Rd, Evansville, IN 47711.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at The Sterling House of Evansville for their loving care of Mildred during her years there.
Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Redeemer Church or Mater Dei High School.
