

Miles responded to his mom’s voice and squeezed his dad’s finger right after birth. He had a full head of brown hair and a cute little nose.
Miles was welcomed to Heaven by his great-grandparents, Hank and Eileen Scott, Marvin (Denny) Craig, Jerry Elpers, and Bill Riffert. He is survived by his parents, Michael and Ashley Scott of Evansville; grandparents, Roger Elpers of Evansville, Denny and Angela (Hancock) Riffert of Newburgh, Ed and Pam Scott of Evansville; great-grandparents David and Sande Hancock of Evansville, Betty Craig of Bellbrook, Ohio, Norma Elpers of Cynthiana, and Alice Riffert of Evansville; aunts Paige Scott of Columbus, Ohio and Callie Elpers of Evansville; uncles Nate Scott and Presley Elpers, both of Evansville, and many extended family members.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 27, 2018, from 4-8 p.m. and on Saturday, July 28, 2018, from 1-3 p.m. at Alexander East Funeral Home, 2115 Lincoln Ave., Evansville. A memorial service began at 3 p.m. with Pastor Bret Nicholson officiating.
