Though her life on Earth was heartbreakingly brief, Mi'Yani brought a profound warmth and light to her family. In the short hours she spent with them, she inspired deep love, tender moments, and memories that will be cherished forever. Her presence, however fleeting, reminded those who held her of the fragile beauty of life.
Mi'Yani was preceded in death by her brother, Aspen.
She is survived by her parents, S'Ence McGee and Montarious Cheatem; seven brothers and five sisters; and grandparents, Veronica Bell and Donyella Cheatem.
A private service will be held to honor Mi'Yani. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
