Nancy Marlene Hahn Norvell

Nancy Marlene Norvell, 79, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. She was born July 31, 1935, in Newburgh, IN to Elmer and Leatrice “Lee” Hahn, and was one of three children.

She graduated from Central High School in Evansville. She worked in banking and insurance most of her life at Old National Bank and retired from Wausau Insurance in 1995. She very much enjoyed attending auctions, collecting antiques and buying from television sales networks. Her pleasant demeanor and natural kindness, like her mother’s, will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, in 2010; her parents; and brother, Robert.

She is survived by her sons, Terry (Wendy) Hauschild of Wernersville, PA and Tom (Carmen) Hauschild of Ft. Branch, IN; grandchildren, Geoffrey Hauschild of New York, NY, Shaun Hauschild of Wernersville, PA, Seth (Julie) Hauschild of St. Joseph, MI and Ben, Caroline and Andrew Hauschild of Ft. Branch, IN; brother, Dan (Judi) Hahn of Evansville; aunt, Neva (Jack) Crisp of Evansville; nieces and nephews, Max, Jennifer and Kyle; and several cousins.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, August 16, 2014, at Alexander East Chapel, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
