Norbert L. Appman

Norbert was known as the “Mayor” of Edgar Street. One of his favorite pastimes was driving his Model A around the neighborhood. Norbert loved old cars, fishing, car shows, tinkering around in his garage and eating out at Cracker Barrel on Saturday mornings. He retired from Whirlpool after almost 40 years. Norbert enjoyed watching his grandkids sports events.

He is survived by his sons, Steve Appman (Jamie) and Joe Appman (Lorien); grandchildren Austin Appman (Lissa) and Luke and Grace Appman; step-grandchildren, Hunter McCormick (Sierra) and Shelby Camden (Colton); great grandchildren, Ansley Appman, Kohen Appman, Hudson McCormick, Weston McCormick, and Kynleigh Camden and his children’s mother and friend, Charlene Appman.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at Alexander North Chapel, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends and family may visit on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
