

Norma Jean Minton of Evansville, Indiana passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at the age of 84 at Harrison County Hospital with family by her side. She was born on May 4, 1941 in Evansville, Indiana to Herman and Mary Alice Rebstock.
Norma Jean graduated from F. J. Reitz High School in 1959. She worked as a transcriptionist at Welborn Hospital, she also worked as a mutual teller at Ellis Park and Indiana Downs. Norma Jean remained active with planning her high school class reunions. She had a love of horses and the horse racing community, as well as owning two racehorses in the 70’s,
She was preceded in death by her parents Herman and Mary Alice Rebstock, Sisters Martha Nell Rebstock and Mary Ann Gibbs.
Norma Jean survived by her son, Mark (Jessica) Minton; grandson, Matthew (Mandy) Minton; brother Larry (Terri) Rebstock; great grandsons, Luke and Marshall Minton; nieces, Pam Jacobi and Rita Harper; nephews, Mike Pritchet, Russell Schaefer, Clint (Vanessa) Rebstock; and many great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 30, 2026 at Alexander West Chapel, with burial to follow in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends and family may visit from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. The service will be live-streamed at www.Facebook.com/FuneralStreamUSA.
