Norma Jean Smith

She was born August 6 1938 in Evansville Indiana to Arthur and Mary (McFarland) Montgomery.

Norma Jean was a miracle her whole life and a very strong person. She had a great love for her family and we all knew it. She always fought the good fight of faith, receiving Christ at an early age, loving to sing in churches with her husband and growing up. She was a Cubs fan, loved to watch old and new westerns and loved fishing with her husband.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents and two infant siblings, Gary Wayne and Carroll Sue.

Norma is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Robert G Smith. Her siblings Donnie (Joyce) Montgomery of Evansville IN, Jack (Betty) Montgomery of Evansville, Cathy Fox of Bourbon IN, Trena Roedel of Evansville IN, Her son Robert Duane Smith(Candace) of Boonville IN, her daughters Debbie (Eric) Neese of Evansville IN, Donna Boyer of Evansville IN and Diana (Brian) Hoeche of Boonville IN, Great grandchild Sadie Elizabeth Smith of Evansville IN who she raised.

Grand children Dawn, Amber, Sarah, Tara, Amy, Dillon, Brandon, Janay, Benny, David and Nathan. And 11 great grand children with one on the way.

Friends and family may visit Sunday, March 20, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Monday March 21, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Alexander North Chapel. A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Rodger Tabb, will be held Monday March 21, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
