Nyheim Cashton Groves

Nyheim Cashton Groves, one year old, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at Deaconess Midtown. He was smart, funny, joyful and very lovable. He enjoyed giving kisses and loved his family very much. Nyheim was preceded in death by his great grandfather, Homer Hale, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Germia Groves; father, William Butler; sister, Princess Butler; grandmothers, Gwentina Hale (James), Darnesa Watkins and Adesha Groves; grandfather, Clayton Groves, Jr; great grandmothers, Brenda Hale and Vicki Groves; great grandfather, Clayton Groves, Sr.; great great grandmother, Temple Long; uncles, Daeon Groves (Jazlynn Groves), Clayton Groves III, Clavonne Groves, Cayden Groves and Jaydiss Butler; aunties, jahdae Watkins, Nashay Owusu; and many cousins, great uncles and aunties, and great cousins. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 10, 2022, at Nazarene Missionary Baptist Church, 867 E. Walnut Street with Rev.Larry A. Rascoe, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Sunday from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Alexander East Chapel and Monday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
