He retired from Hutch & Son after 43 years as head of their shipping and receiving department.
Otis was preceded in death by his parents Lillian and John Stout.
He is survived by his son, John Stout and wife, Layla, of Evansville; sisters, Janet Stout of Newburgh and Johnni Southerland of Evansville; several grandchildren; aunt, Elizabeth Ashby of Owensboro; cousins, J.P. Taylor of St. Augustine, FL, Smitty and Willie Taylor of Evansville, Joe Lyn of Mansfield, OH, Dorothy Biscopink of Owensboro, and Billy and Patti Stout of Cincinnati.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 - 6:00 PM Sunday, February 13, 2011, at Alexander West Chapel. Graveside services are planned for Memorial Day at Sassafras Grove Cemetery in Sebree, Kentucky.
