

He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. He was very proud of attending the October 2016 Honor Flight. It was one of the honors of his life. He retired from AMOCO Oil Co. after 23 years and then retired from Evansville Concrete Co. in 1992. He was a current member of Holy Rosary and past member of Nativity Catholic Church, the Teamsters, VFW 1114, River City Eagles, Owls and SWIRCA, where he was named volunteer of the year in 1998.
Paul was preceded in death by son, Keith Holcomb; step-daughter, Ann Stanley; former wife, Elaine Holcomb, and sisters, Louise Lipps and Dorothy Kincaid.
He is survived by wife of almost 20 years, Marjorie C. Dorsey Holcomb; step-daughter, Linda (Bill) Schmett; step-sons, Mark (Deb) Dorsey and Brian Dorsey; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses who cared for Paul.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 19, 2017, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday August 18, 2017 at Alexander East Chapel and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to service at the church.
