

Pearl was a member of Washington Avenue Church of Christ for seventy plus years where she was very active. Pearl’s faith and church family were very important to her. She worked at the West Kentucky Youth Camp for many years. She loved to travel with her husband, Paul and visited every state but two.
She was always ready to goooo!
Pearl loved to fish, and work in her yard with her flowers. She was a devout football fan enjoying all games from Reitz High School to the NFL. Pearl could often be found at the West Side Donut Bank with friends. She was known to be a very determined lady.
Pearl was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Paul A. Cummings; step-son, Larry Cummings; step-grandson, Brian Cummings; sisters; Mary Harris and Judy Reuter; brother; Joseph (Jay) Gatewood.
She is survived by her children, Sue (Benny) Kibby, Jo Ellen Willis, and Douglas (Roxy) Cummings; 7 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; 1 brother and 4 sisters; multiple nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2025 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois St., Evansville, IN officiated by Alan Bush. Burial will follow in Alexander Memorial Park.
Friends and family may visit from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 23. 2025 and again on Friday 11:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
