Prentice Guy Baker

Prentice “Guy” Baker, 63 of Evansville, IN passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. He was born on August 18, 1956 to the late Prentice and Lanetta Baker. He loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. Guy served as a father-figure to children in the neighborhood. He worked at Bootz Manufacturing for 20 years. Prentice is survived by his wife, Rebecca Baker; sons, Prentice Baker, Jason Baker, Jeremy Baker; daughter Stephinie Baker; sisters, Diane May, Carol “Barbara” Kirby (Jarrott), Martha Clark; brothers, Wendell Baker (Maria) of Louisville, KY, Glenn Baker (Tara) of Brazil, IN; grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held 4:00 p.m. Monday, June 29, 2020 at Alexander West Chapel officiated by Rev. Carl Mann. Friends may visit 2:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
