Preston Revere - Chillion Blackwell

Preston Revere-Chillion Blackwell, age 5, unexpectedly went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 8, 2023. Preston was born on February 14, 2018 to Aaron Lynn Blackwell and Marissa Lynn (Smithhart) Blackwell in Evansville, Indiana Preston was a Valentines Baby full of love, his family often teased him he was a Sour Patch Kid. He absolutely adored his big sister. He had a temper to match hers and he enjoyed teasing on her. He was a wild, fun-loving, and energetic boy. You could see his smile from ear to ear on any Thursday or Sunday when he was with his GrandPas. He was like a sponge, he soaked up everything when at school and while playing school with Bristol. He loved dinosaurs and playing with Woody & Buzz with his Steve. Preston was his Grandma's green eyed boy, the apple of his Daddy's eye, and the love of his Mommy's life (her forever Valentine). He is survived by his parents; step-father, Steve Berry; big sister, Bristol Jean-Marie Blackwell; grandparents, Leann "Grandma" Smithhart, Rick "PaPaw" Smithhart, Lynn "Grandpa" Blackwell, Rusty "Grandpa" Whitehair; uncle, Marcus Mayes (Lacey Mayes); several loving cousins; best friend, BreeBree; and many aunts & uncles and extended family members. Preston is preceded in death by his aunt, Marcie Winstead; grandmothers, Kristi Blackwell and Barbara Berry; and great-grandparents. Visitation will be held at Alexander Funeral Home, East Chapel on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and again on Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Final resting place will be at Park Lawn Cemetery.
