Priscilla A. Radcliff, 62, passed away Monday, August 16, 2021, at Encompass Health Hospital after a long illness. Priscilla was born on August 24, 1958, in Evansville to the late Jack and Kathryn Lettermann.
All her life Priscilla was drawn to the nurturing and healing professions. She worked as a nurse, in education, and in social work, most recently at Deaconess Hospital, until retiring in 2015. She was also a licensed Massage Therapist and a Reiki Master third class. She graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a nursing degree in 1992, BS in Social Work in 1998, and a Masters in Social Work in 2002.
Priscilla also was a nurturer in her personal life. She loved to entertain, cook, and host a house full of people. When her grandchildren were born, ‘Gaga’ immersed herself in their care for weeks on end. Her presence was like a burst of sunlight, and her family and friends all knew her as a force for good in their lives.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years Michael; her children Katie Adams (Josh) and Stevenson Radcliff; her grandchildren Hailey, Ethan and Mason Adams; her sister Rebekah DeWeese (Tim); her sister-in-law Sarah Earnest (Bryan); her niece AnnaBeth DeWeese; her niece Kristin Earnest; her nephew Jacob Earnest; her aunt Silvia Mason; and several cousins.
Her family loved Priscilla very much and will miss her greatly. She was the lodestar of our lives.
A private visitation will be held. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
