He was a man of his word who found joy in the simple things in life — the beach, a good cup of coffee, his favorite Denny’s breakfast, and working hard until retirement from Roadway Express, as a proud member of the Teamsters Union.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Elizabeth Mae (Pruitt) Critser; his loving wife, Antoinette “Toni” Floyd Critser; brothers, Roy Critser and Wayne Critser; and sister, Mary Critser.
He is survived by his daughter, Dawn Michelle Adams and her significant other, Charlie Adams; his granddaughters, Alexandra Lacy Latham and Caira Blye Connor; and great-granddaughter Alaynah Lacy Morsovillo.
He will be remembered for his strength, integrity, strong work ethic, and the pride he carried as a dedicated Teamsters Union member. Above all, he will be remembered for the love he had for his family.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 20, 2026 at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue, Evansville, IN 47714. Friends and family may visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home on Friday. Burial will take place at Park Lawn Cemetery.
