

Richard loved hunting, fishing, and camping. He blessed us with his kindness, soft temperament and gentle spirit. Richard joined the United States Navy in 1955. He married Sarah, his sweetheart in 1979. He retired from Whirlpool Corporation in 1998 after 32 years.
Richard is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sarah “Annie” Livers; his fur-baby, Lucky; step-children Cathy Nally of Evansville and Tony Wallace of Elberfeld; sisters, Marylou (Bob) Lockyear of Chandler, Donna Paddock of Evansville and Carroll (Joe) Cheshire of Chandler; brother, Dave (Della) Livers of Boonville; 5 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 4 nieces and 5 nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents William and Dorothy Livers of Chandler and brothers; James and Charles Livers.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday September 28, 2017 at Alexander West Chapel in Evansville, with burial to follow at Locust Hill Cemetery.
Visitation for friends and family will be held on Wednesday September 27, 2017 from 2 to 8 p.m. Father Lowell Will will officiate the ceremony.
