He worked at Seeger Refrigerator Company, Evansville Realty, and La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries. Richard also owned and operated Romerhaus Creations with his ex-wife, Sayuri. He loved photography, acting, civic theatre, dirt biking, and playing guitar.
Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Romerhaus, in 1973; brothers, David and Art Romerhaus; and parents, Arthur and Jean Romerhaus.
He is survived by his daughters, Diana Tucker, Sharon (Chuck) Loesch, and Pamela Brown; step-son, Jason Davis; grandchildren, David Spencer, Stacey Saltsman, Geoff Marley, Ryan and Les Brown, Morgan and Lisa Clark; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be 4:00 PM Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at Alexander East Chapel, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park at a later date.
