Rita Jeanne Leslie Caddick

She graduated from Bosse High School in 1949, attended Evansville College, and graduated from Indiana University in 1953 with a degree in Marketing. Rita was a member of Tri Delta Sorority and was a past president and Golden Girl of P.E.O. Chapter CC. She married George Lewis Caddick on June 20, 1953. She was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Henderson, where she enjoyed many years of serving as the Pastoral Care chairman. Rita was a loving wife and mother, who loved nothing more than her family. She also greatly enjoyed working her yard and serving on the telephone committee for P.E.O.

Rita was preceded in death by her parents; and son, James A. Caddick.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, George L. Caddick; and son, Jeffrey A. Caddick, both of Evansville.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 5 South Green Street, Henderson, officiated by Fr. Rich Martindale, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Tuesday, April 7, 2015, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue, Evansville.

The family would like to thank the Evansville Cancer Center and Dr. Rick Ballou for the care given to Rita during the 14 years she lived with cancer; you are the BEST.
