

Jack survived many hardships as a child including the flood of 1937. He graduated from Reitz High School and learned skills that he carried into his career at the Mechanical Arts program. Jack then had a successful career for 47 years as a Tool & Die Maker at Schnacke Manufacturing and Kahre Brothers. He also served as a volunteer fireman for 20 years for Scott Township. Jack proudly raised his family on Martin Road in a home that he built himself.
Jack is survived by his three sons, Michael A. Hahne (Sharon), Barry R. Hahne, and Tim O. Hahne (Roxanne); grandchildren, Kimberly Albert (Allen), Lisa Duke (Chris), Crystal Hahne, A.J. Hahne (Michelle), and Jordan Hahne (Brittany); thirteen great-grandchildren; and many other extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ted Hahne and sister, Dorothy Colbert.
Friends and family may gather for a visitation on Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Alexander North Chapel 4200 Stringtown Road, Evansville, IN. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. following the visitation at the funeral home. Jack's final resting place will be at New Salem (Campground) Cemetery, Evansville, IN.
