Robert "Bob" William White, 92, of Evansville, IN passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Golden Living Center- Brentwood. He was born February 27, 1929, in Evansville, IN, to the late William Bracken and Myrtle Belle (Beasley) White.
Bob retired from Kraft General Foods and was a 32nd degree Mason, Shriner, and Korean War Army Veteran. He had a great sense of humor and would tell jokes to anyone who would listen. Bob loved his family and always said, "Family comes first." He was a whistler, and his tunes can still be heard echoing in the halls. In his younger years, Bob enjoyed motorcycle day trips and singing with his wife, and in the '60s they each recorded a song that Jane wrote. He was also a member of Harwood Baptist Church.
Bob was preceded in death by his loving wife of 26 years, Vonneda “Jane” (Clark) White, who passed away Feb 14, 1998.
He is survived by his children, Ron (Theresa Oser) White, Connie Rumade, and Jeremy (Jamie) White; grandchildren, Uriah White, Ezra White, Nick (Erica) Rumade, Andy (Christy) Rumade, Sebastian (Cassidy) White, Elijah White; great grandchildren, Lilly White, Kaitlyn Rumade, Lucas Rumade; special friend, Lelah Barnett; and best buddy, Danny Stoneberger Sr.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 21, 2022 at Alexander West Chapel with burial to follow in Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit 1:00-6:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 20, 2022 and Monday 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
