

He was a hard-working man, retiring from maintenance at USI after 26 years. Ross enjoyed flying ultra-lights, skydiving, and loved taking trips on his Goldwing and playing music with his friends. He was a member of the American Motorcycle Association. Ross was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents, Harold and Doris Hettenbach and brother, Glen Hettenbach.
Ross is survived by his wife of 34 years, Sue Hettenbach; sons, Scott Hettenbach, Evansville, IN, Jesse Hettenbach (Nina), New Harmony, IN; grandchildren, Skylar, Kalyn, Koy, Malayna; brother, Dale Hettenbach (Jan), Evansville, IN; 14 nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Nancy and the staff at Heritage Hospice and Dr. DeFries and his staff for their wonderful care.
Services will be 11:00AM, Friday, June 29, 2012 at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Harry Wheatcroft with burial at Zoar United Church of Christ Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday, June 28, 2012, from 2:00PM until 8:00PM and Friday from 10:00AM until service time at the funeral home.
