

Ruby Thomasine (Morgan) Woodard, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016, at her Evansville home in the company of her husband, children, and grandchildren after an almost two year battle with Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer. She was born June 9, 1943, in Livermore, Kentucky.
She was a 41 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Ruby was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Miles; father, Reginald Morgan; sister, Patricia Tooley; and half-sister, Rebecca Compton.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 27 years, James Woodard; daughter, Angela Zunun; ex son-in –law, Robert Zunun; son, John Deane (Angie) Lindley; grandchildren, Alex Rosas, John Dakota Lindley, Robert and Grace Zunun; first husband, John Harvey Lindley; mother-in-law, Betty Woodard; half- brothers and sisters, Miles Snyder, Sabra Thompson, Raymond Morgan, Reggie Morgan, Ruth Ayres, Ron Morgan, Randy Morgan, and Regina Redd.
Ruby’s stated wish was not to have a funeral or visitation following her death, and instead implored all family, friends, and well-wishers to see her while still living.
