

He was a WWII Army Veteran. He was retired from Whirlpool and Servel. He was a life member of Musicians Union Local #275, played in numerous bands for over 70 years, and was an avid waterfowl hunter.
Sam was preceded in death by his son, Steven Fulton; and daughter, Janet Fulton Brown.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Helen Fulton; sons, Sam Fulton Jr. (Liz) of Mt. Vernon, Donald Fulton (Jennifer) of Melbourne Beach, FL, and Dan Fulton (Gayle) of Evansville; daughter, Kristi Fulton Hayden of Newburgh; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Barry Kirves, with burial in Tupman Cemetery. Friends may visit from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, June 30, 2011 and from 2:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
