Sharon June McClure, 82, of Newburgh, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2020. She was born on Friday, March 18, 1938 in Beal, Indiana to Fred and Alma (Gremore) Raney.

She retired from St. Mary’s Medical Center. Sharon was a member of Vann Avenue Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling, spending lots of time with her grandchildren, and bird watching.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; husband Charles; daughter, Peggy Barnes; and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her son, Dennis McClure (Angela) of Newburgh; sister, Ada Stiles; brother, D. Mike Raney of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Gary Barnes (Liz), Nathan Barnes (Dana), Quentin Barnes (Kirby), Natasha McClure (Shirley), Jennifer McClure, Willie McClure, Ryan Dills, Angel Johnson (Casey), Ashtyn Dills, and Max McClure; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and friends, Clara Jo Arnold and Melinda Compton.

Private funeral services will be held at Alexander East Chapel with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
