She graduated from Bosse High School and went on to work as an Administrative Assistant for Lefler's Paint & Body Shop, Keller Crescent Engraving and Printing Company, and Continental Management Insurance Company.
In her younger years, Shirley had a vibrant and adventurous spirit. She loved motorcycles and especially enjoyed riding to Daytona Beach. Her love for the beach remained throughout her life, and she also had a passion for horseback riding, watching classic Western movies, and listening to the music of Engelbert Humperdinck and Elvis Presley.
Shirley found joy in life’s simple pleasures, like sitting in the sun, gardening and flowers, and spending time with her family. She cherished family reunions, treasuring the time spent with loved ones.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Sherri (Otto) Klein, Jay (Kimberly) Hille, and Rose (Chris) Hildebrandt; her great-grandchildren, Hunter Klein, Kade (Madison) Hille, Paige Hille, Emily (Matheus) Oliveira, Mikala Alexander, and Lucas Hildebrandt; her siblings, Paul Hill, Steve (Kathy) Hill, Tom (Nell) Hill, Judy Hill, Linda Hill, and Cindy Hill; and her daughters-in-law, Suzanne Garrett and Donna Groves.
