Nécrologie de Sophie Grace Rinehart
Sophie Grace Rinehart, 17, of Newburgh, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2016, along with her father, David Gary Rinehart, and grandmother, Ruth Ann Rinehart. She was born October 25, 1999, in Evansville, IN, to Lucinda Rinehart and the late David Gary Rinehart. She was a junior at Castle High School, where she was a member of the marching band and show choir. Her love for music drove her to excel in all aspects of performance. Many people said she had the voice of an angel. Sophie led worship for youth and was a leader and mentor to other students at her home church. She had a strong desire to lead others in genuine Christ worship. It was her heart to pursue music ministry following college. Her favorite saying was, “We’ve got to love and care for people better to show them the love of Jesus.” Sophie not only mentored friends, she fiercely loved and supported her family. She was sunshine. Sophie is survived by her mother, Lucinda Hinton Rinehart; sisters, Josie Kirsten and Rylie Kendall Rinehart; grandmother, Debbie Lynch; grandfathers, Bob Lynch and Gary Rinehart; and countless loving extended family members and friends. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, November 17, 2016, at Crossroads Christian Church, officiated by Pastor Ken Idleman and Pastor Todd Bussey, with private burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM and 10:00 AM until service time at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the David and Sophie Rinehart Memorial Fund at any Fifth Third Bank location. Condolences may be made online at www.AlexanderEastChapel.com.
