Terry L. Hudson

Terry L. Hudson, 79, of Evansville, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. He was born on November 3, 1944 in Martinsville, Indiana to Edward and Mildred (Ogden) Hudson. He was a member of the first graduating class of Harrison High School in 1963, where he lettered in football. Terry was a U.S. Army veteran and was awarded a Purple Heart. He was a member of the Evansville Eagles Aerie 427. Terry loved golf, fishing, collecting antiques and marbles, and making people laugh. Terry was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Edward L. Hudson; and infant sister, Sharon. He is survived by his wife, Janet (Garrett) Hudson; son, Travis Hudson (Maelynn); grandson, Evan Hudson; brother, Tim Hudson (Linda); and nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Alexander East Chapel with Braxton Hunter officiating. Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the staff at Deaconess Hospice and special friend, Angela Ames, for their care and kindness.
