Terry Reed Robinett

Terry Reed Robinett,79, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2020. He was born to Jim and Millie Robinett in Harrisburg, Illinois and moved to Evansville as an infant. He graduated Bosse High School and Henderson Barber College. Terry began his career as a barber and retired from Modern Tire Inc. (Now Raben Tire). He also served 28 years in the Army Reserves (281st) retiring as a Warrant Officer 3. He loved to bowl, golf, serve his country, riding both off road and touring motorcycles plus his ’38 Ford. He was a member of Reed Lodge (51 years), Hadi Shrine/Motor Corp Unit, a senior bowling league, Old North Methodist Church, a charter member of the Black Coal Enduro Club, and former member of E’ville Iron and SIMA Motorcycle group. Terry is survived by his wife of 41 years, Darlene (Senning) Robinett; daughters, Kristi (Gary) Seib and Julie Allen; sons, Jim (Laura) Robinett and Mark (Molly) Turpen; grandchildren, Ryan and Aryn Seib, Anna and Matthew Robinett, Leda and Reed Turpen; brother, Gary (Sherry) Robinett and sister, Lynn Elliott. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2020, at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Pastor Mike Monahan, with burial following in Sunset Memorial Park where the Retired Veterans Memorial Club will conduct military rites. Friends may visit Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Shrine walk through at 6:45 p.m. and a Masonic Service at 7:00 p.m. at the chapel.
