Mrs. Tommie Lou Jessup was born in Sharon, Mississippi on October 5, 1938, to the late Tommie Johnson and Ida Carson. On Thursday, October 28th, God called his beautiful angel home to rest at the age of 83 from her peaceful home in Evansville, IN.
Mrs. Tommie Lou Jessup was a faithful and dedicated member at Berlin Heights Church of Christ under the leadership of Rev. Don P. DeJarnett in Evansville, IN. She served God and her community through various capacities. Mrs. Jessup retired in the early 1990s from Welborn Baptist Hospital in Evansville, IN.
Mrs. Tommie Lou Jessup had a passion for fashion, fishing, and travel. Throughout her life, her travels would take her to various places with her taking residence in Joliet, IL, Marion, IL, Jackson, MS and Nashville, TN. Mrs. Jessup would always find herself returning to Evansville, IN where she resided most of her life and always called Home.
Mrs. Tommie Lou Jessup is preceded in death by her husband, McClendon Jessup; two (2) Daughters: Shelley Fae Kelly and Ella Wee Kelly and two (2) Grandsons: Keon Kelly and Damien Kelly.
Mrs. Tommie Lou Jessup leaves to cherish her memory, her two (2) Daughters: Linda Duncan (Terry) of Joliet, IL and Jannifer Jenkins (Kenneth) of Bolton, MS. One (1) Son: Fredrick Kelly of Evansville, IN. Three (3) Sisters: Essie Johnson and Juanita Johnson both of Evansville, IN; Sheila Peaches of Tupelo, MS. Thirteen (13) Grandchildren; Twenty-six (26) Great-Grandchildren and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Other relatives and Great friends.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 am. until 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Berlin Heights Church of Christ, 1226 East Missouri Street, Evansville, Indiana 47711. Memorial Services will follow visitation at 10:30 a.m., officiated by Pastor Don P. DeJarnett.
