Virginia was a member of St. Paul’s Methodist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Sanders; daughter, Mona Gayle; and brothers, Joseph and Howard Peacock.
Virginia is survived by her daughters, Linda Smith (Larry) of Thomasboro, IL; Paula Coultas (Vic) of Evansville; Marsha McWilliams (Tony) of Owensville, IN; Martha Street of Berrysville, IL; and Lisa Schnur (Gary) of Evansville; 12 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; sister, Wilma Brothers of Park Forest, IL; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Heritage Center and Hospice for the loving care they provided.
Services will be 1:00 PM Monday, February 7, 2011 at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. John Hilbert with entombment at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Monday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Heritage Center Reflections Wing.
