Virginia "Ruth" Shaw

She retired from Atlantis Plastics in Henderson, where she was a press operator for many years. Ruth was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She enjoyed reading, watching crime and reality TV shows, working outdoors, and motorcycle riding and traveling with her husband.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 50 years, William L. “Bill” Shaw; daughter-in-law, Lynda Shaw; grandson, Josh Shaw; sisters, Mary Givens and Obie Embry; and brothers, Charles and Richard Miller.

She is survived by her sons, Russ Shaw (Bobbi) and John Shaw; grandchildren, Amber Rios, Michael Dial (Bree), Aaron Duhachek (Lindsay), Zach Shaw, and Kaleb Shaw; five great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Alexander East Chapel. Entombment will follow at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
