Walter J. Deutsch

He was a member of the Steamfitters Local 136 for over 50 years. He worked for Bud’s Plumbing for 21 years as a plumber. He retired from Industrial Contractors after 10 years. Walter was a WWII Army Veteran who was awarded the Bronze Star. He was a life member of VFW 1114. He was a member of Fendricks Men’s Club and Athletic Club since 1979. Walter was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter J. & Marie Deutsch and granddaughter, Ashley Deutsch.

Walter is survived by his wife of 40 years, Wilma; sons, Robert (Valerie), Bobby Joe, Anchorage, Alaska, Michael Becker (Rita), Dallas, TX.; daughters, Patty Ritz (Dan), Debbie Wolf (Jim), Philamena Decker (Billy), Mary Holder (Steve), St. Phillips, and Donna Clements (David); sixteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, February 24, 2012, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Happy Lott, with entombment at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Thursday, February 23, 2012 and from 11:00AM until service time Friday at the funeral home.
