Wanna Marie Thompson

Wanna Marie Thompson, 70, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at the Good Samaritan Home. She was born September 15, 1951 in Evansville, Indiana to the late Ivan J. and Henrietta (Kelley) Kuehn.

Wanna was a certified nursing assistant and worked at many Evansville nursing homes and many years at Deaconess Health South. She attended Crossroad Christian Church. Wanna enjoyed helping people; and loved animals, especially her cats.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Kevin Kuehn.

Wanna is survived by her daughter, Courtney M. Bowman (fiancé, Dennis Keeper); sisters, Barbara Boone, Janet Williams, and Sharon Merkley; brother, Larry Kuehn (Julie); aunts, Dee Cornelison and Cora Maroney; many nieces and nephews; long-time friend, Paul Walker and many friends at Independence Square Apartments.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at Alexander East Chapel, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Alexander East Chapel and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
